This trail system is in a heavily forested area that connects to a State Park on the Puget Sound. It is possible to ride all the way down to the beach, or to stay up on the trails to play. A local volunteer group of cyclinng enthusiast keep up the trails and even develop new trails occasionally. There are some specific routes that are signed and rated. Most of the trails are intermediate level, but I take my young son there and we have found beginner areas. A couple favorite routes of the hardcore (that I don't even attempt) are "Log Jam" and "Heart Attack Hill" There are 3-4 entrances into the system. This location is next to a small city park, Dash Point Highlands, with free parking along the street.
