The Bickelhaupts organized and gifted the Bickelhaupt Arboretum to the public in 1970 as a non profit organization. I often go there and assist with new tree plantings and occasional weeding. I have enjoyed the time spent with these two out-going people. These statues are dedicated to them and are rather good liknesses made from hammered sheet metal and wire.

Update: On November 1, 2006, Bob Bickelhaupt passed away. He will be missed by many.
