This Soroptimist's plaque is below a tree planted in the Welsh National Garden of Peace in October 2000. The plaque was presented to commemorate the International Year for the Culture of Peace.

The Peace garden was created in 1988.

The plaque has somewhat faded so I have included a picture of how it looked in 2000. The tree was just coming into leaf when I visited so I was not able to tell what type of tree it was at the time.
