I don't find any history on the bell tower itself; but here is some history of the church: Twelve Corners Baptist Church was established in 1842. It is located between the town of Pea Ridge and the national battlefield of the same name, both named after the long ridge on which they are located.

The Confederate troops marched past this church on the day before the battle of Pea Ridge on their way to try to get around the Federal troops.

The bell looks like it could be used if it were lubricated and a rope put around the pulley.
