This Park is located adjacent to the Swan River (the main river of Perth city) and the big and busy (and profitable) Burswood Casino (the only (legal) casino in Perth). The Park is a small affair, but attractive. It is centred on a small walkway, surrounded by trees.

The waymark location is the Park plaque, which states that: the two cities declared their affiliation on the 23rd of April 1974, with the intent of fostering international peace, cultural understanding, and goodwill. The Park "is a living symbol of this understanding". Several trees in the Park were installed by the Mayor of Kagoshima.
