Bumblebee the Transformer is based on children's toys, a television cartoon and films. Transformers transform from everyday vehicles, electronic items, and weapons, into alien robots. The Bumblebee character is the young sidekick of Optimus Prime, the benevolent leader of the Autobots from the planet Cybertron.
The Bumblebee model displayed here stands over 10 feet tall and was built in Thailand entirely from used automobile parts! While it does cost money (and a lot) to go into the museum, this is free to see as it is in the outside area before the ticket counter.
