This generator was used in the hydroelectric power plant Augst from 1916 to 1994. It is now located at the entrance to the headquarter of a local power supply company.

This generator is located at the entrance to the area of the power supply company EBM in Münchenstein. It is near the parking, south of the main buildings.
It was erected here in 1994, when eight of the ten original generators in the hydroelectric power plant Augst were replaced with newer constructions, two of them are still active.
It is a large wheel with a diameter of 5 to 6 meters, partially under the ground level. In its 78 years of activity it produced nearly one billion kWH.
