This is a large recreational complex, comprised of a YMCA, a large fitness gym, the Okanagan Gymnastics Centre, an arena, a seniors activity centre, a skateboard park, four soccer fields, Boys & Girls Clubs, a ball diamond, a community garden, a dog park, and this traffic park.

Children who use the park embark on a "field trip" of one hour, which costs $3.00. This consists of a walk around the park, learning the rules of the road, general traffic & pedestrian safety and the meaning of all the traffic signs and signals that they will encounter. Then they take to pedal cars, navigating the streets of the traffic park, applying their new found knowledge in real life traffic situations.

This year, field trips commence on April 16th and continue through the summer.
