The former Bank of New South Wales is located at 899-901 in Hay Street. The commercial building was constructed in 1935 and represents Inter-war Free Classical style. The building was built for the Bank of New South Wales which was established in 1817, and this year is set into the concrete facade of the building above the entry. The name 'Bank of New South Wales' is set into the facade just below the roof-line.

The building is now the home of the Perth branch of Canali, a clothing company based in Italy specializing in men's clothing.
