The Ostankino Tower is currently the fifth tallest tower in the world and it was the world's tallest free-standing structure at the time it was built in 1967. Tower was designed by architecture N. V. Nikitin.
At tower top there is an observation deck to visit for excursion as well as a panorama restaurant “Sedmoye nebo”.
The restaurant has 3 levels (334m, 331m, 298m), capacity for 240 people, and serves traditional Russian dishes, along with European cuisine.
The restaurant is currently closed for renovations and is set to reopen in 2013.
