This chess board, with pieces approximately half a metre high, is in a open area in the centre of Fremantle. The game is available Mon-Sun, 09.00-16.00. The pieces and board are of a conventional design. It is a pleasant spot to spend an hour or two. There are a number of other waymarks and tourist sights in the immediate vicinity.
