The Exchange Tower is home to the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). No trading floor with guys in plaid jackets yelling, but on the ground floor there are fancy computers that take in all the trades. The wall of monitors in the broadcast centre is cool.

The Exchange Tower is home to the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). According to World Federation of Exchanges, the TSX is Canada's largest stock exchange, the 5th largest in North America and the 12th largest in the world by trade value (2011).
The Exchange Tower is located at 130 King Street West, in the centre of Toronto's bustling financial district. It is a 'green' building with a Gold level of certification in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance program. There are 36-storeys and over 1.1 million square feet of rentable space.
The TSX was knows as the TSE from 1861 to 2001. In 1997, the trading floor closed, which, according to a wikipedia article, made it the second-largest stock exchange in North America to choose a floorless, electronic (or virtual) trading environment. The old TSX building would later become the Design Exchange - a museum and education centre.
The TSX is owned and operated by TMX Group Inc. The company also owns and operates the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V), the Montreal Exchange, the Natural Gas Exchange and the Boston Options Exchange.
