"Begin your tour on the Square in historic downtown Newberry. Before you hop in the car, have a look at the granite mileage marker located on the Square halfway down the Caldwell Street side. It shows the miles to our historic neighbors and Hamburg (a port on the Savannah River near present-day Aiken). You’ll notice that Saluda isn’t there.
