This scenic view of Dubrovnic and its crystal-clear coastal surroundings can be captured from the top of Minceta Tower: a large round fort at the Northern end of the city. The fort's tower is open the the public -- as part of the "old city walls" tour, accessible for a nominal fee -- and is the highest point in the defensive outer walls surrounding the old city.
Dubrovnik -- a UNESCO World Heritage Site -- is situated on the Adriatic Sea coast of Croatia and is one of the most prominent tourist destinations on the Adriatic. As of 2011, its population was approximately 42,000.
