HMCS Sackville is the last of Canada’s 123 corvettes. Currently serves the summer months as a museum ship moored beside the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Note: HMCS Sackville winters in the naval dockyard at CFB Halifax.

One of many convoy escort vessels built in Canada and the United Kingdom during WW II. She is Canada’s oldest fighting warship and has been the official Naval Memorial since 1985. It is very appropriate that the ship is in Halifax, Nova Scotia, as this “East Coast Port” was an important assembly point and destination for convoys during the Battle of the Atlantic."
Sackville is alongside the Sackville Jetty in downtown Halifax, NS. Open to visitors seven days a week from 10AM until 5 PM. (summer only)
