Port Seraphine Red Telephone Booth - Castries, Saint Lucia - Red Telephone Boxes on Waymarking.com

Among the maze of shops catering to tourist at the Castries Harbor cruise ship dock at Port Seraphine is a red telephone booth imported from the U.K. The red color really stands out as you scan the port from the the upper decks of the cruise ship. Locating it on the ground require some wandering.

The telephone has been retrofitted with a modern blue digital telephone. When I was there, for some reason, a rock was placed in front of the door which still has its glass windows. These are sometimes removed in hot climates, esprcially the tropics. The a label on the back indicated its origin is the Carron Company of Stirlingshire.
