Mansion on the Hill - Ogallala, NE - Ghosts and Hauntings on Waymarking.com

Old buildings and strange sightings seem to go hand-in-hand and the Brandhoefer Mansion, built in 1887, is no exception. According to several witnesses, a light in the back room turns on in the middle of the night when no one is inside. Additionally, museum employees have reported a "shadowy figure" walking the hallways in the afternoon. To add to the 'creepy factor,' an old pioneer cemetery is located only a few blocks away on Boot Hill.

• Use care when using your camera flash so you do not disrupt any possible nearby residents. Time lapse can be the best tool on your camera in many circumstances.
