Arosa is a municipality in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland with a population of 3300. It is a well-known tourist resort with over 4500 guest beds in hotels and about 8000 in holiday apartments. Arosa has about 70 kilometers of downhill slopes in winter, during the summer it is a popular hiking area.


1304 Arosa (1928 KC) is an outer main-belt asteroid discovered on May 21, 1928 by Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory. It was named after the Swiss town.

The coordinates are at the lake next to the railway station in town center.
