Within the Florida Caverns State Park is a small pull-out where there is a historical marker about General Andrew Jackson, and also this High Water Mark that was placed after the flood of 1975. Another nearby sign discribes the action of the "disappearing" river that is here (and pops up again a quarter mile away).
