Das Foto entstand an der Ecke Frieden- / Hentzestraße, der Blick geht die Friedenstraße hinunter zum Wehlheider Platz, von wo ein Wagen der Herkulesbahn auf seinem Weg zum Brasselsberg heraufkommt. Heute ist die Friedenstraße eine reine Anwohnerstraße ohne Durchgangsverkehr, die Herkulesbahn ist hier seit 1965 Geschichte, die Kneipe an der Ecke gibt es nicht mehr und entlang der Straße ist eine Anzahl von Bäumen gewachsen.

The photo was taken on the corner of Friedenstrasse and Hentzestrasse with the view going down Friedenstrasse in the direction of Wehlheider Platz square, from where a Herkulesbahn trolley car is coming up the street on its way to Brasselsberg. Today Friedenstrasse is a residential street without through traffic, the Herkulesbahn is history since 1965, the pub on the corner has gone and a number of trees have grown along the street.
