"One daily winner, John Thurston of Bloomington, Minn., described loading up his family at 9 a.m. on Father's Day to try to find the prize. He was one of several treasure hunters at the designated store in St. Paul, but his call got through first.

"The different hunting groups pile into the store and quickly locate the postcard," he wrote. "At that time a mad dialing frenzy into contest headquarters occurs.""
