The most valuable monuments in Lysá nad Labem include a Baroque chateau with an extensive park decorated by a unique set of Baroque sculptures made by Matthias Bernard Braun’s students. Today, the Lysa nad Labem Chateau serves as a retirement home.
The town's setting is formed by a former 12th century Augustinian monastery and a Baroque chateau with a church. The town of Lysa significantly flourished and achieved good cultural reputation especially under the rule of Earl Frantisek Spork. A number of prominent Baroque artists, such as sculptor Matthias Braun (

The park is a very interesting mini street with statues of each month. Behind each statue is the entrance to a separate mini block of chateau garden.
