"The operations of the Helsinki City Rescue Department are divided by districts in the city of Helsinki. The Rescue Department has eight rescue stations, located in different parts of the city, seven of which operate throughout the year.
The Suomenlinna Rescue Station is open from May until the end of August every year. In the winter season, the station is staffed by the Erottaja Rescue Station." (

"The Central Rescue Station is the administrative centre of the Rescue Department. Central storage facilities, equipment maintenance and vehicle servicing are located at the station. The station was fully renovated in 2004.
The Central Rescue Station is home to a number of basic and specialised units. There is a heliport available at the station.
