The monastery of St. Magdalena has a long lasting school tradition. 1970 the primary school "Klosterschule" was handed over to the city of Speyer. This school was closed 2010, the scholars moved to a new building far away. The former school buildings are now used as editorial office for a magazine and will be used in future for internal education.
Das Kloster St. Magdalena hat eine jahrhundertealte Schultradition. 1970 wurde die Grundschule "Klosterschule" der Stadt Speyer als Schulträger übergeben, doch der Name blieb erhalten. 2010 wurde die Klosterschule geschlossen, die Grundschule zog in einen Neubau in einen entfernteren Stadtteil um (Salierschule). Die ehmaligen Schulgebäude werden derzeit von einem Verlag genutzt.
