The two-story diving platform is located at the spring head. In addition to providing a fun place for diving, it also allows for a nice view of the spring.
There were no human swimmers (or divers) when we visited as the water was too cold. However, we did spot four Florida manatees hanging around the area, and we got some nice photos of two them, a female and an older calf, from the top level of the diving platform.
