U.S. interstate 95 uses this bridge to get over the Potomac River. To the west, you can see The Washington Monument, The Capital, and the Lincoln memorial. The sign features a cardinal, the state bird and an icon, sitting on a willow tree branch. It is place about 15 feet above the freeway. There is a walkway on the west side of the bridge if you want to get up close.
