Christmas Tree - Brno, Czech Republic - Holiday Displays on Waymarking.com

Traditional "Brno Christmas" celebration with Christmas tree is located on central square of Brno called "námestí Svobody" (Freedom Square). Official period of this celebration is mentioned below, but Christmas tree is already visible usually from 20th November to 20th January.

"Brno Christmas" celebration is one month long period of events and markets (Christmas village) in the middle of Brno. "It has become a tradition that people can enjoy rich cultural programme on Freedom Square every day. Bands playing various music genres will give concerts and children from primary schools will sing Christmas carols.

Naturally, the nativity scene created in the workshop of woodcarver Jirí Halouzka, Christmas train or the little bell tower will not be missing. Children can feed animals in a popular petting zoo and put down their secret wishes at Ježíšek’s or Christ Child’s post office. The traditional swap meet of minerals and favourite Christmas workshops for children and parents will be held in Radnická Street."
