Sur la Place des Nations Unies, à l'entrée de l'ancienne médina, se dresse la Tour de l'Horloge. Construite en 1908 par le commandant Dessigny, elle a été détruite en 1948 à cause de sa fragilité et reconstruite en 1994. Grâce à ses 20 mètres de haut, cette tour indique l'heure à tous les passants.
Il y a une horloge ronde sur chacune des 4 faces de la tour. Les aiguilles sont noires et les heures sont indiquées en chiffres romains, noirs sur fond blanc.
On the Place of the United Nations, at the entrance of old the medina, draws up the Tower of the Clock. Built in 1908 by the commander Dessigny, it was destroyed in 1948 because of its brittleness and was rebuilt in 1994. Thanks to its 20 meters in height, this tower indicates the hour to all the passers by.
There is a round clock on each of the 4 faces of the tower. The needles are black and the hours are indicated in Roman numerals, black on white zone.
