The new mall "Postgalerie" opened after many years of planning and re-building on 11/28/2012. The historical post ("Reichspostgebäude") building dates from 1901, the building facade is sand stone by the architect Anton Geyer. There was the regional post office administration for decades and afterwards a local post office until 2002. Between 2002 and 2012 the historical building was unoccupied. The new indoor shopping mall is about 23.000 m² and contains about 40 shops.
Die neue Postgalerie öffnete nach vielen Jahren der Planung und des Umbaus am 28.11.2012. Das historische und denkmalgeschützte Reichspostgebäude ist von 1901, die Sandsteinfassade stammt vom Architekten Anton Geyer. Hier befand sich lange Zeit die Oberpostdirektion, danach bis 2002 nur noch eine Postfilliale. Zwischen 2002 und 2012 war das Gebäude ungenutzt. Die neue Shopping-Mall ist 23.000 m² groß und umfaßt ca. 40 Shops.
