This stone marks the crossing of N 48° and E 15° according to the now uncommon Austrian grid system. It slightly differs from WGS84 datum now used in most GPS receivers.
Waymark Code: WMFQ7N
Location: Niederösterreich, Austria

The position differs by about 100m to the WGS84 confluence point. Actually there is is a traditional geocache at the "correct" position. If you like to visit this waymark and the geocache look for GC1322E.

The stone was settled by the BEV (Bundesamt für Eich- und Vermessungswesen) and is very close to the Austrian-Czech border.

You cannot drive to the spot, you will have to walk about 1.5km through the beautyfull woods.
Visit Instructions:
1. A closeup photo of the waymark with your GPS, or (a part of) you in it, is required.
2. An area photo including the waymark in the view is highly appreciated.
