A coleção exposta - maioritariamente oriunda do Museu da Arma de Transmissões do Exército Português - inclui espólio representativo dos meios de transmissão físicos e sonoros, visuais e óticos (destaque para a telegrafia ótica), elétrico-eletrónicos (material telefónico e telegráfico), manuais de instrução, material de linhas e de medida e ensaio, equipamento TSF e de feixes hertzianos. A faixa cronológica estende-se do período islâmico à Guerra Colonial portuguesa."
