Lakeshore Scenic Drive begins at the Lake Mead Visitor Center (now being remodeled) on US Highway 93 northeast of Boulder City and continues to the junction with Lake Mead Parkway and Northshore Road.

This scenic drive travels about 12 miles along the west side of Las Vegas Bay at the southern end of Lake Mead. Here at the start of this drive are several trailheads that take you over a historic railroad roadbed that has been converted to a trail or other scenic areas along this southern part of Lake Mead.
