The church of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe as we see it today was built in 1939. Actually there was a church on the same spot but as far as I could find, the works of 1939 completely changed it.
The church is usually locked, but a visit can be arranged if you look for the Franciscan sisters, in the same village.
