"M" Mountain, aka Socorro Peak - Letters on Hills on Waymarking.com

The "M" is limed anually by students carring 50lb sacks of lime on thier backs up the hill with no trail. At night the M can be lit, when the local high school has a game the M becomes a W for the Warriors. The peak is not accessable because it is on the EMRTC, Energetic Materials Research and testing Center. They regualry blow up stuff out there so you can't just walk up it. (visit link)
The M can be viewed from just about anywhere in Socorro. The coordinates are near the parking lot of the Macy center.
