"The Wilson Windmill, for years a landmark on Highway 53, from Dothan to Cottonwood, was erected at the Gardens on April 30, 2002. It is again a working windmill, pumping water in a small replica of an animal watering trough."

How to find.:
After parking in the botanical gardens parking lot, pass through the main building and out the rear door where you will see the trail around the gardens. Go left on the trail and you will see the windmill and its hand-operated water pump just past the demonstration garden.

It can only be visited during the operating hours for the botanical gardens: Open Every Day 7:00am-5:00pm CST 7:00am-7:00pm CDT
