This statue of Jesus is a larger than life-sized and is mounted on a cement plinth about 8 feet high. It is located to the left of the entrance to Mazatlan's Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. There is another similar statue at the back of the cathedral. It depicts Christ in flowing robes with hands to his side raised as if speaking to a crowd...or praying..or both. There is no information at the site about the artist or date. It would appear to be made from concrete.
