St. Henry's Isis Harp - Averill Park, NY - Outdoor Wind Harps on Waymarking.com

In a memorial garden by the cemetery of St. Henry's Catholic Church stands a beautiful wind harp. It was placed as a memorial for Timothy Fitzmaurice, who was a music director for the church. Luckily, when I visited it was a windy day, so I could hear the unique sounds coming from the harp.

"The harp invokes a sense a sacred mystery – frequently the sounds are ones I’ve only “imagined” as opposed to “heard.” It has been a wonderful experience to see people sitting by the harp and using it as a place of calm and meditation.
