Die Lindenmühle liegt am Bach Rodau, kurz vor dessen Einmündung in den Main. Sie ist die älteste Mühle von Mühlheim, im Jahre 1352 kaufte sie die Abtei Seligenstadt vom Vogt von Steinheim.
Ab 1490 sind zahlreiche Pächter und Besitzer belegt. 1867 war sie mit zwei Wasserrädern, zwei Kanälen und Schleusen ausgestattet. Um 1890 wurde der Mühlbetrieb eingestellt. Seit 1986 ist die Stadt Eigentümerin der Mühle, sie dient nun, nach denkmalpflegerischen Gesichtspunkten saniert, als Wohnhaus.
The Lindenmuehle is located at the creek Rodau just before its confluence with the river Main. It is the oldest mill in Mülheim, in 1352 the Abbey of Seligenstadt bought it from the Vogt of Steinheim.
From 1490 on, numerous tenants and owners were mentioned. In 1867 it was equipped with two water wheels, two canals and channels. Around 1890 the operation was set. Since 1986, the city is the owner of the mill, it is now, redeveloped in compliance with national heritage aspects, used for residential purposes.
