The National Library of Vietnam is housed in a large building located in the centre of Hanoi. The building is set in a large, open, landscaped area. Entry is unrestricted. The library was fairly busy when I visited on a weekday. There are lots of books, lots of study areas, and lots of activity. I avoided photographing people in the photos used for this waymark.
I could not find any information about the library or building online. I suspect that the building dates back to the French era, and it appears to have been designed as a library, rather than having been adapted from some other function.
