Oral Roberts University was founded in 1963 by Evangelist Oral Roberts and is situated on 263 acres in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Oral Roberts is a Christian University, boasting an enrollment of over 5,000 students from all 50-states and several foreign countries. The 263-acre campus features 23 major buildings, including excellent academic and sports facilities. The GPS Coordinates will take you to the South Lewis Avenue entrance and the 36-foot, thirty-ton Praying Hands Statue. Located at the center of the campus and visible from just about everywhere on the campus is the Prayer Tower, which opened in 1967 and gives visitors a 306-degree view of the campus and the surrounding area. The University Visitor’s Center is located at the base of the 200-foot tower.
