Though we do not have tattoos, it is fascinating. We pass by the Wolf's Den often on our way to and from Trail. We always look at the art work displayed on the large wall facing the road.

Darrell Cross is the owner and operator of the Wolf's Den Tattoo in Trail.

“There's a good reason so many people in the Greater Trail area are sporting tattoos these days. His name is Darrell Cross. "I'm solid booked for the next four months," said Cross, the long-haired owner of the Wolf's Den Tattoo and Body Piercing in Trail.
For the past 15 yrs. Cross has been building his reputation. Customers come from all over B.C. to get inked with family portraits, intricate sleeve designs and animal art. He said his artistry is always evolving, and nowadays he is comfortable free-handing most of his tattoos.

Cross started tattooing at age 14. He has even practiced on himself, inking a small cross on his wrist. Cross specializes in black and grey realism and detail work. When Cross first opened, he divided time between body piercing and tattoos. Since he's expanded to a second venue, with a parlor in Castlegar, he's decided to devote his time to tattooing.

Stephanie Vance and Sydney MacDonald, employees who have been working for Cross for years, have taken over the piercing side of the business and named themselves the Lion's Lair. They operate out of the same building.”
