Sherman M. Booth commissioned a complete plan for a housing development circa 1911. Early schemes included a town hall, two railroad waiting stations, park features, stables and an art gallery. Eventually, the development included Booth's residence and five houses for rent, each named for its first independent owner.

Although it has been suggested that the Ravine Bluffs sculptures were executed by Alfanso Ianelli, according to Storrer, recent evidence does not support this claim. One also may see the influence of Richard Bock on Wright. The northeast entrance to the development is by way of a bridge over the ravine from which the project takes its name. The bridge in a near state of collapse was rebuilt in 1984 as were the two sculptures at the entrances.

We discovered this location while doing the BoB geocache series and since we are only logging the entrance, there are six FLlW houses here for the Waymarking. Come and get 'em.
