Located on the grounds of the Unitarian-Universalist Church, this bench honors those who participated in the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1955.

According to the church administrator, the bench was placed by one of the church members to honor the memory of Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and all those who participated in the bus boycott. Since the church is located on Atlanta Highway which is served by bus traffic, one could see it being used by current day passengers. The bench is on the grass in front of the building, by the parking lot.
The plaque reads:
