The handicapped and wheelchair accessible trail starts right in front of Kantonsspital Bruderholz. It is a loop trail on all paved paths with a full length of 4.5 kilometers, but there are several possibilities for shortcuts. The trail is well marked with distances to the next destination, not the walking time you find usually on Swiss hiking destinations signs.
The signs are in a very light yellow to not confuse them with the yellow standard hiking markers. The trail is maintained by Verein Wanderweg beider Basel, this is the same organization that also maintains and documents the "normal" hiking trails in the cantons of Basel.
