The Cine-Teatro Marques Duque was built in 1917. In the early years of the 21st Century the theater was renovated and re-opened in 2005. During these works it was found that on the right spot where the theater stands there was human occupation at least between the 5th and the 7th Centuries, as they found there tombs from those times.
Actually, the theater was built where a chapel from the 17th Century existed.
