The Calumet MI / Keweenaw's National Historical Park Visitors Center is located in Calumet MI. This historic building has 3 floors of artifacts and displays dedicated to the Keweenaw's history. Much of this history centers around Calumet and the rise and fall of copper mining in the area. Central to this theme is the 3D Map of the Keweenaw Peninsula.
Address and Hours Available to the Public:
Red Jacket Road and 5th Street, Calumet MI Open seven days a week from late May through September 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. July and August open 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. October through late May as staffing allows.
