National Park Rondane - National Parks of the World on Waymarking.com

The large shale plates in Mysusaeter village are reminding visitors that they are approaching the boundary of Rondane National Park. The park was established in 1962 and today it covers area of 963 square km of mountainous area. It is important as one of the few habitats of wild reindeer.

The entrance is free for pedestrians, there is a toll gate for motor vehicles nearby. The motorized traffic is restricted to few access roads to car parks.
