Bronx Cheer is an American style burger joint/bar in Shizuoka city, Japan. Shizuoka is located about 1.5 hours south of Tokyo by bullet train. I've been living in Japan since 1991 and I can tell you, finding a good burger in this country is very difficult. Bronx Cheer has real American style burgers and they are fantastic. There are more items on the menu and everything is made the American way, but the burgers in this place really stand out. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Although they have a fully stocked bar children are allowed in to dine with their parents. Located less than 10 minutes by foot from Shizuoka train station, the Bronx Cheer is my recommendation if you are ever in the area and are looking for a great burger. I gain nothing from that endorsement as I am just a customer.....a well satisfied one at that. Closed on Tuesdays.
