This steam locomotive is on display at the Fujieda History Museum in Fujieda, Japan. The engine was in service from 1913 to 1931. It's original route was from the Ote station to Fujieda station. Once at Fujieda station passengers could transfer to another train to continue on to Omaezaki. The route from Ote to Fujieda station was relatively short, about 4km. There is area, where the former tracks resided, that is slightly uphill. On rainy days the tracks would be too slippery for this little engine to make it up the hill so people from the surrounding neighbourhood would come out and push. The line itself was in operation until 1970.

Visitors, as you are facing this engine head on there is a statue just behind you and to your left. Please tell me what that statue is.
