You can park your car close to this bench dedicated to Marion Porter. It is a great place to to start your walk along Covehead Bay. A standard ocatgonal gazebo is found at this end of the walk. You will find many benches along the way to stop and the paved path with grassed sides makes for easy terrain.
The bench is of wood construction and is comfortable. Golfers can be watched nearby as well as a few boats from the nearby pier.
The walking path has also been set up for cyclists and there are numerous neighbours to greet along the way. The walk can start and end here and teh adventurous might find a path through to Prince Edward Island National Park to create a loop with the gazebo at the start and end of the route.
